About

Healing is both a science and an art

My name is Rhonda Heath, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Mental Magic Psychiatry is a private practice, which means the person you meet on the first call is the person who treats you at every visit after it.

My mission

The whole person, not the symptom list

At Mental Magic Psychiatry, I believe that healing is both a science and an art. My mission is to help you reconnect with your inner strength and move toward balance, whether that be mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. My practice offers personalized care rooted in empathy, evidence-based methods, and solutions.

I recognize that optimal mental health is not just about symptom relief, it’s about living a meaningful and fulfilling life. I focus on the whole person, addressing mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health, and I collaborate with you every step of the way.

“The greatest task for any person is to find meaning in his or her own life”

Viktor Frankl

What makes this different

Three things patients notice first

Double-certified

Expertise as both a Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner, covering mental and physical wellness. Your other conditions and medications are part of the plan, not somebody else’s problem.

One provider, start to finish

You see the same clinician at every visit. No rotating panel, no repeating your story to someone new each time.

Four tools, combined

Medication management, TMS referrals, psychotherapy and supplement guidance, weighted to your history, your body and your preferences.

It starts with a free 15-minute call. From there, your first visit is a full 60-minute evaluation with Rhonda, the same clinician you will see at every visit after it.

How it works

What licensure means for your appointment

Three practical things worth knowing before you book an online visit.

01

Your location at the visit

You need to be physically in one of the seven states during the appointment, not just a resident of it. Traveling? Tell us and we will reschedule around it.

02

Prescriptions stay local

Medications are sent electronically to a pharmacy near you. Rules for certain medications differ by state and are explained on your state page.

03

Insurance follows the state

Accepted plans vary by state because billing runs through Headway and Grow Therapy. Check the plan list for yours before the first visit.
