Being in network does not guarantee coverage for every service. Deductibles, copays and coinsurance are set by your plan, and benefits are verified before your first appointment.

How it works

Three steps before your first visit

Nothing is billed until your benefits have been confirmed and you know what your visit will cost.

01

Send your card

A photo of the front and back of your insurance card, plus your date of birth, is all that is needed to start.

02

Benefits are verified

Headway or Grow Therapy checks your plan and returns your deductible status, copay and estimated cost per session.

03

You confirm and book

You see the number before you agree to it. Sessions are then billed automatically to the card on file.

If your plan is not listed

You still have options

Out-of-network does not have to mean out of pocket in full. Many plans reimburse a portion of psychiatric care, and a superbill can be issued for you to submit. Ask on the free call and you will get a straight answer about cost before anything is scheduled.

Self-pay

A flat, disclosed rate per visit with no claims, no prior authorizations and no diagnosis on file with a payer.

Out-of-Network (OON)

A superbill (an itemized receipt) you submit to your insurer for out-of-network reimbursement.

HSA and FSA

Psychiatric visits are an eligible expense on most health savings and flexible spending accounts.

Ways to pay

Self-pay visits can be settled with Zelle, Apple Pay, Venmo, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, JCB (Japan Credit Bureau), Diners Club, and FSA/HSA.

Ready when you are

Fifteen minutes, no charge, and you leave knowing whether you are covered and what a visit will cost.
